The activities entail the development of an up to 250MW photovoltaic solar facility, Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and associated infrastructure on the farm Kannikwa No. 156, Registration Division Namaqualand, situated within the Richtersveld Local Municipality area of jurisdiction. The town of Port Nolloth is located approximately ~17 km west of the proposed development (refer to the attached locality maps).
